In the fall I usually pull out all the plants after they are done producing and cover the gardens with crushed leaves from our maple trees. I throw kitchen scraps in throughout the winter and the worms turn leaves and all into compost by spring. If anything is left when I am ready to plant I just put it on the compost pile. I'm from CA but live in the mountains where it gets low to 36 degrees f. It's almost snow season and I'm not sure about what to do with the vegetable garden. Being new to veggie gardening, I had a pretty decent harvest from Spring to Summer growing from seeds. I'm still learning!Priscilla @ Homegrown Delighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17720403308060570320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7753411933434240907.post-76975874965579497802010-09-22T01:57:06.468-07:002010-09-22T01:57:06.468-07:00Thank you Jodi.
