A Frosty November Morning ...

A frozen leaf warming in the morning sun ...

Frost crystals glistening on the deck ...

What's left of the kale after the ducks have been feasting on it ...

Ice crystals on the cold frame plastic.

  1. Awesome photos! I hear kale tastes best after a light frost. Or is that brussels sprouts? Either way looks like your ducks won't let that happen :)

    1. Thank you! Kale grows better in the cold, brussels sprouts and carrots definitely taste sweeter after the first frost. I have to keep the ducks out of the winter garden or they would devour that as well!

  5. Wow, we've had frosty mornings already this year, but I think we're a lot further south than you are! :) Stopping by from Farm Life At It's Best!
